The holiday seasons have never been the same for me.

Ever since I have no longer been a child it has made me enjoy the gift giving season

a little differently.

I wonder how I can live in a world, where not every child is adored.

As I grew into adulthood and I realized that every child is not treated the same,

it made me take my rose colored glasses off so I could reexamine the game of "life" that is being played.

I hope that this holiday season you too may choose to take your rose colored glasses off.

I hope that you can see that aside from unnecessary gift giving in this season there are people who live in the cold, that are freezing, starving and dying.

& no, I am not asking to you have life's solution.

I am only asking you to observe things and be a little less stupid.

Santa is a lie that was told to get the consumers to go crazy, be gluttonous and buy enough materialistic gifts to fill up a whole room in a home.

I am asking you to think of those in need,

those that are starving and being killed in the middle east.

I am asking you to wake up and shake up the world.

I am asking you to no longer let western colonialism go on ignored.

Human lives matter!

Much more than gifts, and dinner served on pretty platters.

This holiday season,

I ask that you stand with me.

I ask that you love on and spend time with your loved ones and families.

I propose that you somehow avoid indulging in supporting corporations and their corporate greed.

Find an angel tree, be an anonymous giver.

Be intentional,

go through this holiday season with a broader mentality.
