People say that I am difficult,

mid conversation,

when they have run out of excuses.

Forced to face reality

or deflect.

Deflection is always the detection.

My response always

calm

cool

and collected.

"yes. and you are simple."

However, you won't ever hear me complaining upon it.

"I like this game, would you care to continue?"

long silent pause.

Conversation topic shifts.

" I didn't think so."

I whisper under my breath.
