Hope In The Unknown

The unknown hums,
a vast expanse without maps, without markers;
only shadows and stars.
Fear calls it empty, but hope calls it infinite.
Each unanswered question is a seed buried in night,
germinating in silence, waiting for the sun to arrive in its own time.
Faith is not a straight road,
it is stepping barefoot into the fog,
believing the ground will rise to meet you.
The universe is not cruel,
it is a weaver, threading losses and loves,
delays and arrivals, into a tapestry you cannot yet see whole.
And so you breathe,
you trust,
you open your hands,
knowing the stars have already conspired for your becoming.
