Unlikable

Unlikable,

That is who I am to some.

I have learned that throughout life not everyone is going to like you too much,

that knowledge helped me greatly when I chose to become so unlikable.

For years I would wake up in the mornings and put my “people pleaser” pants on.

Yet, I don’t do that anymore.

Suspiciously,

that is when I started to notice life move in a different direction.

I watched as people I used to confide in turned into strangers,

two faced alien like creatures.

I woke up one morning and decided to be different.

I chose me,

I decided that I matter.

Then, that was it

the defining start to me becoming so unlikable.
